We launched Dirty Manners in 2022 and have been on a mission to promote a lifestyle of mindful living and appreciation of the environment around us - something that we often lose sight of in our daily lives in the city.
Through each collection, we aim to inspire a sense of exploration and discovery - a reminder to step outdoors and be present wherever you find yourself.
Our designs are focused on comfort and functionality, made to make you feel free to explore within and outside of city limits and be a part of your everyday adventures.
We’re focused on becoming the most responsible version of ourselves and approach sustainability from every angle. From the material we source, to the way we package our goods, and the organisations we partner with, we are constantly striving for better, one step at a time.
We invest in sustainable fabrics; our priority is to reduce reliance on virgin materials by using deadstock or recycled fabrics. Deadstock fabrics are leftover fabrics from fashion companies that were never used and would otherwise go to landfill. This fabric is then repurposed and used for our own.
GRS Certified Recycled Cotton
By using recycled cotton, we extend the lifespan of a fibre that has already been created, uses fewer environmental resources than what is needed to grow virgin cotton. Our current solution is to use recycled cotton made from repurposed production scraps and retired textiles, restoring the utility of materials already in circulation, and diverting fabric waste from landfill.
GOTS Certified Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic pesticides, which notoriously contaminates the runoff water, causing harm to surrounding ecosystems. Organically farmed cotton employs nature-based solutions to manage pests and to build healthy soil, supporting biodiversity and healthy ecosystems. We choose to work with cotton as plant fibres are natural, renewable and inherently biodegradable.
